Overview
After doing most of the persuasive talking during a debate in her fourth grade Sunday school class, Amy Humphrey’s teacher promptly suggested that she would make an outstanding attorney one day. Mrs. Meadows was right.
Today, Amy has more than 20 years of experience and primarily focuses on medical malpractice defense. She represents various healthcare providers and facilities – hospitals, private practices, urgent care centers, clinics, nursing homes, physicians, physician assistants, residents and nurses.
Defending clients before State and Federal Courts in all phases of litigation, Amy is “persistent, pays attention to detail and very persuasive.” That’s why clients put their trust in her. When they need peace of mind professionally and personally, when their confidence is shaken and claims seem very complex, Amy’s experience leads the way to aggressive defense strategy and favorable, cost-conscious results.
Amy also has a great deal of experience in product litigation – representing manufacturers of recreational vehicles and consumer and commercial equipment. She regularly represents clients before state and federal courts at all phases of litigation, including mediation, hearings and trials.
She currently serves on the firm’s Management Committee and is Chair of the Inclusion and Diversity Committee. Amy enjoys spending time with her family outside of work – participating in outdoor activities such as boating, skiing, swimming, and hiking.
