Defense Verdict Obtained in Wood County

Ted Martin and Ryan Brown successfully defended a pain management physician in the Circuit Court of Wood County, West Virginia.  The plaintiff alleged that our client failed to obtain informed consent and negligently performed an occipital nerve block. Plaintiff claimed that the medication used caused a neurological injury that resulted in her becoming disabled.  On June 11, 2018, after a four-day trial, the jury deliberated for less than 1 hour before returning a verdict finding that our client met the standard of care.  The jury trial was held before Judge Wharton.  Wood County Civil Action # 16-C-472.
