Raymond L. Harrell, Jr. has been appointed Chairman of the West Virginia Bar Association Young Lawyers Division. Ray will serve a two-year term, under which he will also serve as a member of the Executive Council.
Founded in 1886, the West Virginia Bar Association is a voluntary, private association of lawyers in West Virginia which provides intellectual and social pursuits that increase knowledge and collegiality among the bench and bar. WVBA members include judges, professors, public defenders and prosecutors, plaintiffs’ lawyers, and defense lawyers. The Young Lawyers Division (YLD) of the WVBA was formed to aid newcomers in making the transition between law school and the practice of law.
Ray joined Flaherty’s Charleston office in 2016 after serving as a summer associate there for two years. His practice focuses on employment law, workplace liability, deliberate intent law, and commercial/general litigation.
