Services

Pete DeMasters knew he wanted to be an attorney in eighth grade, but he took a unique path in achieving his goal. He first joined the Air Force and worked in Intelligence as a Russian linguist for ten years. During his service, he completed his undergrad and started a family.

Today, Pete has been practicing for more than 20 years – acting as Managing Member in our Morgantown office. His strength is litigation, and because of his diverse experience, he can aggressively handle anything from professional negligence and product litigation to transactions and construction cases.

Pete has solid experience and an excellent track record working for businesses and business owners – to accomplish their goals and achieve the results they desire. “I read everything, and I remember details. No detail – no matter how small – in any matter is unimportant. My clients can expect me to give them advice about the litigation they’re involved in – and also about the effect it may have on their business now and in the future.”

Outside of work, Pete is active in the community, his church and volunteering for the food pantry. He’s also an adjunct lecturer teaching Pre-Trial Litigation at WVU and the President of the Morgantown Planning Commission.

“Every day I learn something new. Every day I can make a difference for someone.”
