Growing up, Michael Secret was a voracious reader and filled journal after journal with short stories. Eventually, his love for reading and writing led him to pursue a career where those traits are highly valued.

In practice since 2016, Michael primarily represents clients in general civil litigation, municipal law and estate planning. He has successfully led clients through complex litigation matters and argued substantive motions at the summary judgment level, saving clients the expense of undergoing trial. He has also helped to guide clients through estate planning processes and commercial ventures.

“Litigation can be a stressful experience. Not only do I make it a point to provide the best legal service possible, but I also make it a point to be present. A client working with me can always get ahold of me and can always expect me to be open and honest about their matter. Stability is important throughout such a trying time.”

Michael resides in Bridgeport and is a lifelong member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church in Clarksburg. Michael is also a board member of the West Virginia Italian Heritage Festival, a member of the Harrison County Democratic Executive Committee and the sitting Vice President of the Clarksburg Columbian Club. In addition, he has been a certified high school wrestling coach since 2010.
