Tracy Pratt

Marc Rigsby joined the firm in 2014 with previous experience in civil litigation. He is now a vital part of Flaherty’s healthcare regulatory and corporate transactions groups, advising clients on a range of regulatory issues, including compliance with Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute and Certificate of Need, and representing their interests in HIPAA breach investigations, overpayment disputes and various other healthcare matters. Marc has also assisted a number of healthcare providers in developing direct-to-consumer telemedicine platforms.

On the corporate side, in addition to providing general business counsel and contract review, Marc has been involved in several acquisition deals and helped with the formation of several joint ventures.

Marc very much enjoys working with clients and seeing them achieve their goals. Why do clients choose Marc? “Communication is key. I always do my best to keep in touch with clients and walk them through the process of the matter or transaction at hand and give them regular status updates. I want them to feel comfortable—and be informed—every step of the way.”
